Italian team Adler has claimed victory in the Italian Superbikes competition at the recent Tour of Flanders.
The Adler team was on a three-week break from racing and had just finished their third race in the Superbike category in April.
In a three hour battle with Kawasaki, Adler took the victory with the Kawasaki team finishing second, while the Kawasakis won the overall classification.
This is the second win for Adler at the Tour of Belgium, where they won the first round, before taking the title last week.
However, the team will now move onto the third round of the race on Sunday, when they will attempt to win their first race victory since the Tour.
Adler have already secured a place in the top four at the next race in Italy, the Tour de Suisse.
They will race at the end of May in a race which has already been won by Kawasaki in 2014, in the final race of the year.
If they do secure a spot in the Top Four, Adlers next race will be at the Eneco Cup in Italy.
After this, they will head to Austria, where the squad will race their third and final stage race in March.
While this will be their first stage race at Spa-Francorchamps, Adles riders have been busy working towards that target, and they will now be looking to take a strong result at Spa to help secure their place in a final podium position.
